Hi! My name is Martin and I am an italian citizen and I am intended to start a small business in Amsterdam and therefore I would like to know the factibility as well as the terms and conditions for that. I´ve contact the netherland´s embassy in my country but they´ve told me that it´s very complicate. Would somebody give me advice and some places in english with official contents? I would be glad for any help.

" My advice is to grab the ""Holland Handbook"", a great source to have (you can find it at the American Bookshop on Kalverstraat). There is a section on working in the Netherlands with some good advice on starting your own business. I''ve heard the opposite than the information given you. In fact, people have told me the Dutch are willing to make this an easy process. I think a good place to start is your local Chamber of Commerce, which can give you the necessary steps in building your empire. good luck. -Paul S. "

" The Dutch have made it even easier to now start a business. As of the 1st of January of this new year business diploma''s and special education (for the branch that you wish to start a business - with the exception of starting a business in the health industry) are no longer required. The best thing for you to do is to go to the Kamer van Koophandel in the city where you reside and there they have all the info that you need. But be aware...the ""control''s"" that take place of your business once you start it is very stringent. Especially the tax controls. Greeetz from the M@dDOG "

" Martin, You will find everything you need at the KvK website (Nederlands Chamber of Commerce) website in English, I don''t have the URL at work, only at home, but it is easy to find. Regards, Tim "

" Hi Martin, Why bother starting a Business? Do you know that there are some businesses out there that offer one a greater opportunity to create a really good income without all those high overheads, expenses and usual business worries. If you want a quality of life with quality social time and a higher than average income then listen up.. I used to do all that until I ran into something that made me think differently about working for a living. I do all my business now on the Internet. I promote various businesses. But the one I want to share with you is something that is so big and will be so hugely profitable the Dutch people will love it, in fact the whole world will love it. I would like you to click on www.JF10.com. This is so new you can pre-enroll through me and start to promote it with my help, but you can''t sign up to this business yet until later in the month. It will give you an idea what''s on offer here. Your computer and your modem are your tools. Why bother with the traditional ways of doing business like the masses do. Why rent expensive premises, just imagine whatever you earn from this will pay you residual income for the rest of your life. This is no BS Martin, do your due diligence and see whats on offer here! Come back to me and I''ll tell you more how you can make this your business for the future.. I live in UK, but we are not that far away. Regards Papeter "
