" Just like america as a foreignor? Is your wife, husband, partner European and earn enough to support you? If so, you get a residency permit and the work permit comes along. Otherwise, if not, you will need to get a company to support in order to get the work visa. cheers "

" For people moving to the Netherlands one of the best places to start is with the Royal Dutch Embassy in your area and researching the information on the Net as well. We are not professionals on this list and one thing I have found over and over is that depending on which city hall you deal with in Holland, the rules are interpreted differently. One fact is that an EU citizen has much fewer regulations and issues to deal with upon arrival into another EU country and getting the process rolling is a matter of starting the required paperwork.
