" Hi - Well, we are here, and it is great! Everything we expected. And more, of course - which is the problem. 8'') Does anyone have a source for English language instructions on common KPN phone processes such as setting up VoiceMail? Home and mobile? Any such info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...Gary "

" The KPN web (http://www.kpn.com) site does come with an English version, but I have not checked whether it includes what you''re looking for. (I find the KPN web site cumbersome to use). Anton (Amsterdam, Netherlands) "

" Re the KPN instructions in English: They DO have a voicemail manual in English, but many KPN employees do not know about it. I cannot find any English language instructions for setting up your telephone system, however. Catherine "

" On getting the phone put in, call KPN and ask what you need to do. Mine was set up by a relocation consultant. She needed a photocopy of my passport (I didn''t have the Verblijfsvergunning yet) and 750 Guilders deposit. I got a letter from KPN saying the phone would be turned on by noon on a certain date and that I should have a phone plugged in at the time. The deposit was refunded once I FAXed them a photocopy of my Verblijfsvergunning. ISDN is available most places. On http://www.mxstream.nl/beschikbaarheid/check.html you can enter a postcode and see whether ADSL is available at that address. "
