As a long term expat resident in the Netherlands, I am becoing increasing frightened about the actions of the current US government. I am looking for other expats to discuss or create group focused on anti-war activities, the election in 2004 and the possibilities of having our voices heard from overseas by the American government. In particular I find the spending of money on war as well as the Space program while aids, poverty and environmental issues need funding repugnant and would like to find other like minded people to organise peaceful protest. Please email if interested in beginning discussion. Located in Amsterdam

Wish you lots of luck with organizing such a campaign. You have my vote but as I am residing at present in Angola there's little I feel I can do except to give you moral support!

Onno Thanks for message of support.--- Have done lots of research on internet and all anti-war anti bush stuff in europe is being organised at this moment very formally through anti-glodablisation groups or the EFC. I was hoping to find people who will go more specific or grassroots. You can help in Angola by sending contact to people in NL who are interested in stopping this maniac! Not to be redundant but he is following the hip trend of emulating the sixties and creating a new vietnam.... with all that this politically entails.... I was there the first time and don't want a repeat...what happened in the world that we need to remind them that peace and love is cool. apprently the fashion dons who have brought back the sixties have forgoptten the political side??? Anyway if you know any people or are interested in reaching people or just discussing --please write. personaly email @ dbowie @cig.nl ANyone else? regards
Darien en bedankt. p.s. lived in Southern S. Africa many years Good luck in your posting. Interesting place to say the least!

Protests won't have any effect. The only thing that will help is regime change--in Washington. We have to get as many of the 30,000 Americans in NL to vote. You can help. See
