Hi, I´ve just arrived to Holland and live close to Rotterdam now. I need to start looking for a job, but since I don´t speak Dutch I don´t know where to start and if there´s a real chance to get one speaking English and or Spanish and some French as well.
Any tips are welcome!!! and any job as well!!!
Thanks in advance for your help!
XXX Yolanda

Are you EU citizen? In other words: do you have the right to stay in the Netherlands and look for a job or are you on a tourist visa? This makes the difference

She is an EU citizen (spanish), check her profile, so she has the right both to take legal residence and to work in NL.
The real issue here is whether she can find employment without speaking any Dutch, which, obviously, is reducing drastically her employment options.
There are little options available, but R'dam is a true international city, where there are a large number of multi-national companies and corporations and where she might be able to send an open application for employment. Depending on the education, training and skills, as well as on her network, she might get a shot at a proper paid job.

Good luck Yolanda!

good luck!

I am sure you will find something if you have no problem with the residency (you are EU resident)

it's just a matter of time!

... indeed, a matter of time and ... money (not forgetting about the network).

Hallo Yolanda,

I am just new with this page and found your title. I'm moving to Rotterdam next month and also looking for a job. I am speaking a very little Dutch and I would like to find friends to talk and share information and experiences. I am 34 years old, like cooking, photographing, YOGA and sightseeing. Please let me know if you need a friend.

Have a nice day,
Groetjes,
Hua
