Hi expats,

after 3 years in Amsterdam I'll be relocating again, this time to San Francisco. I would like to know if any of you could recommend me an economic service to make a small moving (around 20 boxes)

Thank you!
David.

Strange as it sounds when I returned to the US 2 years ago I found it was actually cheaper to mail the boxes. If you have 20 boxes, at approx 50-60 boxes each you still would not get someone to move your boxes for under 1000-1200 euros. I just started mailing on a daily basis from a postal unit in a grocery store. I was in a town that had no proper post office. You might check with KLM cargo but that isn't usually cheap, but may be more so than a mover. Also go to a large storage rental place . Sometimes they can refer. Or may even do it. My storage facility in England did shipping. Good luck.
