First let me say I not expecting anyone to find me job with this post. I currently live in Colombia and I am looking at a move to TT but I darn sure want a job offer before I take on the move as I am open to several countries, TT is just one.
So have 25 years of high end experience in IT, I am looking to find position as a IT Business Analyst / Project Mgr.
Every country is different and some it's just close to impossible to secure a job from outside the country like Colombia for instance they are so that sophisticated. Others it common place like Dubai where everyone is from somewhere else and firms hire constantly from all over the world.
Anyone give me an opinion about this as I don't want to waste ton hours posting and sending resume apps if the time is in truth wasted. I could concetrate on another market.
Thanks for knowledge or opinions and if by chance you know an IT headhunter please post or PM.

Hi Paladino. I am a Trinidadian local with a non-Trinidadian husband who faced similar concerns before moving here. I also have a Mexican friend who recently moved here and was job hunting at least 4 months before coming. It is not that easy unless you are able to get a job through a large company (oil/gas/banks/telecom). The average company is not really willing to hire foreigners and apply for the work permit for them. There are a lot of foreigners employed here at top level positions however. My advice is to try your luck, looking at the bigger firms. I have seen quite a few IT/Project Manager jobs posted in recent times, especially with the government so you can start on caribbeanjobs.com if you wish. All the best Michelle
