Hello All! I am getting ready to kick off a large project in Trinidad and am going to be in need of some local laborers/drivers to assist us. I am also going to be in need of about a dozen work trucks for this project. Pickups or Vans and maybe even a bucket truck or two.
Probably having everyone stay at the Hilton or Kapok.... thoughts on each?
Any and all input is greatly appreciated.

It depends on where your project is. If it is in the central or south part of the island then staying in either of those two hotels would mean a long commute to the job site every day and equally long in the afternoon.
As for getting labor and equipment you'll have to contact one of the local contractors.

Thank you for the reply. Work is mostly in and around Port Of Spain is my understanding.
Any leads on reputable local contractors?

I personally don't know of any, but my brother is in the construction field, though nearing retirement, so I'm sure he knows of a few contractors. Plus I have not lived in Trinidad for over 30 years and only visit once a year. Do you have an email address that you don't mind putting on here and I'll call my brother to let him know of your needs. If you don't want to post your email address, there is another website where we can "talk" and it has the feature for sending private messages.
