Hello all,
My husband is retiring at 66 and received a contract offer from Ankara.
Although have both Turkish and American citizenship, have not lived in Turkey for 40 years. Need to do a lot of relearning.
I would appreciate it very much if you could help me with
. Income tax
. Private health insurance costs
. American community in Ankara
. Housing... When a residence is rented in a high rise, the ad does not mention anything except the rent. Is there any other cost I should be aware of?

There are no forms needed to be filled for income tax. You need to report your income in the US though.

Rent usually includes the HOA fees but you need to check with the real estate company.

There is TAA located on Cinnah Caddesi which orginizes some events.
