Moving to turkey

I live in US and would like to move to turkey. Looking for mild climate and don't enjoy cold or too hot weather. Can anyone recommend a nice place? I have been to Istanbul and Ankara but 30 years ago and don't remember much of either. Looking to have a change in life from hectic life here. I'm a simple person and love foods and nothing extraordinary. I know the sky is the same no matter where you go , but just a simple life and simple way of thinking.
I am also a doctor and practice emergency medicine. Anyone help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hi, Well in view of what you say, the Mediterranean would not be suitable. As one who has lived on the Turkish Med for 20 years, take my advice, don't even think about it. I think you would find somewhere like the upper part of the Agean like Marmara or the Black Sea areas more suitable.
Hope this is of some help.

Best regards

Thank you so much. It's a great start. I am a big city person but have a very simple lifestyle and not flashy or extravagant . I would like to live near a large city but in suburbs. I'm only one person and no kids or wife. What would you estimate as a starting point for the monthly cost of living would be for a comfortable but modest lifestyle?
Thank you and best wishes
