Moving to Ankara

Hello,

My husband and I are planning to move to Ankara for a 4-yr assignment. He will be working about 5 miles west of the city center. What are our best options for a quiet area to live..we will bring our two dogs so we need a small yard and open spaces nearby for walking. Thank you so much!! Krista

Hi Krista, i may say wellcome to Ankara, right nown,i live in Mackinaw city Mi. as an expat of turkey where i lived in Ankara for long time i can give you some info. Your best choice sould be the neighborhood of KAVAKLIDERE or CANKAYA, you guys will fit best to there,also there are parks and open spaces for yourr dogs.go to SAHIBINDEN.COM/ANKARA you will see rentals look to the far right and check the CANKAYA OR KAVAKLIDERE. rental prices go for 2000 to 2.500 turkis lira which is $8,00 to $ 900. well wish you all the best good luck Hal.
