What to take when moving?

Hi everyone I'm new on this site and just thought I would ask for some advise from you all as I plan to move to the bodrum area next month with my 1 year old daughter to live with my husband.

He has already sorted our new house and owns his own business so we are good about an income. But what I'm wondering is, how did u all pack when u moved?

I've put some of mine and my daughters things in my suitcase and already its bulging and I haven't put most of her clothes etc in. I know we can but what we need there but seems such a shame to leave anything as she has so many clothes etc that I would love to take with us! Also would love to take a lot of my own.

We will most likely have to travel from Dublin- Istanbul- bodrum which means a 2 hour journey from my home to the airport but my friend is willing to drive us there. I'm considering a second suitcase as she can help me with it until check in and my husband can help up when we get to Istanbul but I'm not sure if that's wise?

Any advice would be fab? I also don't have the money for shipping costs although that would have been a lot better.

Thanks in advance!!
