Travel to Turkey (Izmir,Kusadasi)

Hello dear Turkey travelers and residents!
I have been planning to spend 2 months in Turkey soon and would rent a holiday apt along the coast, hopefully Kusafasi or Izmir/Cesme.However I am a bit worried re: safety for tourist fom Western countries.Would you say travel to Turkey now is foolish? I plan to do sight-seeing along th coast, classical sights, maybe Istanbul museums,Bursa old city. Thanks for your input!!! Sunny11

Really, who can say? Terrorist attacks can happen at any time and in any place. So its up to you to keep up with events and make that decision. One thing is for sure it will be a cheap holiday and you wont have to deal with crowds.
