Hi,

My name is Ruben

I may be moving to Uganda sometime in the near future.
Could you please give me some basic information on living in Kampala (travel, housing, social life, prices, leisure, security), or direct me to Internet sources, which would be able to provide this info.

Much thanks

Dear Emuwonge,

We are Indians. My husbad has got a job offer for a Bank in Uganda. We are quite keen to move there. We are both working in India at a middle management level. Need to know what the cost of living a very comfortable life in Uganda would be. Is 4500 $ per month enough for two people including all expenses - accomodation, living expenses, transport- own vehicle, taxes etc. and savings. What would be a good salary package per month to have a good standard of living there. I will be gratefull if you could reply asap as we need to revert to the job consultant.

Thanks a lot
