Hi, I can get a visa at Entebbe Airport, Uganda, correct? (I'm traveling there from Canad).
Do I, by law, need certain vaccinations or have taken other medicines before I enter the country? Do they check for this?
I plan to visit in September.
Thanks!

Hello, They do NOT check. The visa can be purchased for $100, not $50 as it used to be..as far as I know it's the same for Canadians as it is for Americans. You'll need a newer US bill. Have cash, not a credit card handy. If you are going to be traveling around East Africa then ask for a Comesa multiple entry visa, and be ready to show proof of your travel plans in case they ask. Have a fun trip!

You will almost certainly need to show proof of your Yellow Fever vax upon EXITING Ug. You can obtain this easily in-country, however. I recommend doing so at The Surgery in Kampala.
