Can someone tell me about obtaining Resident Status in Ukraine. I understand that there are some benefits, though I'm not quite sure what they are. Perhaps reduced taxes on banking interest, right to own and drive an automobile? I don't know; you tell me. Also, perhaps there are some disadvantages. Anyway, what is the procedure, what documents are required? I've got 2 years remaining on my 5 year visa, but I'm thinking about something more permanent, and due to some personal situations, now would be the time to do it, even before my visa expires.
