There was a prof. from Univ of Chicago into political science and GDP on Rt today that spoke "wisely," not "hot headed like McCain most likely does, " he spoke in an intelligent manner. I think his name was Mescherheim, anyhow, the interview spoke that the U.S. "got its way in the 1990's dictating to the world and Russia", and NOW Russia is "pushing back" in his words. The center of the world poitically is shifting away from Europe to Asia no.1,Middle East no.2, and Europe no3., and the U.S. should NOT push Russia into China's arms as he put it. The U.S. will "have its hands full with China in the years ahead, and is looking for a way OUT of the Ukraine problem it is in. I was @ a local small Lithuanian grocery today, and asked a few questions of the proprietor as he was just 10 days in Lith.. He heard some people make around $700/month, and gas for the car is $7/ gal.. If one goes outside of the city a bit one can rent an apt. for maybe $50/month. I don't have any idea WHAT one gets fof that.
We would like to know WHAT they do for work to bring in money,"everyone can't be selling cigarettes and candy in kiosks on the streets." The computer stories post about IT work , but Lith is a mouse in size. good evening !
