It is worth to visit

Answering in another thread I got an idea of another topic. Lets exchange our experience about visiting different places in Ukraine.

I can start with Truskavets. A great quite place by mountains. I stayed in Mirotel hotel that is a great 5 star hotel recenlty built. But next time I go to the Carpathians I want to stay somewhere away from people (the less people the better). Mind that roads in the Carpathians are bad and I am relactant to drive my Skoda there once again.
When it gets green I want to visit the Ukrainian grand canyon.

Best and the Worst:

My favorite town in Ukraine is Mariupol. I remember fondly the quiet evenings strolling along chestnut tree-lined boulevards and laying on the beach of the Sea of Azov. My least favorite city is Krivoy Rog. It is a city planner's nightmare. It is built along the bank of the river. The city is 72 miles long and 8 miles wide. Many people that have lived there all their lives have never been to the other end of town. All I remember is the dirt, the noise and the mosquitoes.

When the weather warms a bit, I am planning to go to Lviv. My friends tell me it is a beautiful place.

I really liked Sevastopol, but I guess I can't talk about it here, because it is technically not part of Ukraine now.

Lviv is very, very cool. Definitely take a guided tour, there are many cool facts that were worth the money. There is a small weapons museum that has a surprisingly wide range of items. The Kryjivka restaurant is fun, underground WWW bunker theme based restaurant, You have to give the secret password to get in :). House of Legends is interesting. We went on a weekend in the summer and the symphony came outside to perform Sunday morning in front of the Opera house, very cool. I could have stayed there a week, definitely will make another trip, loved it. It is very quaint and clean.

L'viv is by far my favorite city I have visited so far. I loved the old building, cobble stone streets, many building were very clean and well kept up. Not so much graffide on building as in Odessa.

But Odessa is nice also, If the local Goverment could collect some tax money and not steal it, and invest it back in to the city. Odessa would have even greater appeal I think. So many nice old building their not being maintained!

Don't forget Manhattan was stolen by the whitemen, maybe the Indians had a vote, but I never read about it. And most of the western U.S. also. WE get screwed over with O'Bamacare, and WE don't want it! Where's OUR vote? I'm living on my $2500 pension, getting $810/mo. from healthcare.gov toward coverage, and Blue Cross raised the rates for me to pay $300.mo. I found a $101.mo via healthcare.gov, and many places don't want it, mostly some mussies, or salamis. So that comes out to $900/mo. to the insurance. and they don't help my wife, just a money treadmill to them. This is one peve I have. good day guys, have a beer.

I can't believe I am actually agreeing with Michael on one of his posts! Yeah, we pretty much stole most of the territorial land in the U.S. from the Native Americans. But yeah on O'bamacare, what a freakin' nightmare. The bill congress is sensing to Obama to repel it will save $500 billion, something like that? There is one good thing to come out of it, my married kids can be on my health insurance until they are 26. I liked that. That was about it.

they should be wearing masks...your system is a runaway train...daylight robbery....was reading about a small hospital which tried to get same colostomy bags from china at 100 for 12 cents(bulk order)...not the $12 per bag currently paying...and of course the customers ultimately pay for this....you're not being seen as real life humann beings anymore...you can't be if these businesses are treating you this way
