If any of you are 'lurking' on this forum and have plans to travel to Odessa in the near future, I can say that the most important asset you can find is an honest interpreter. I know several people here that can help you solve the problems of visiting a foreign city, especially one like Odessa that has scamming and corruption as the basis of its economy. If you come to nikolaev, my wife has a honest girlfriend that is a licensed interpreter. She did our marriage as you must have a licensed interpreter at your wedding whether you need it or not. If one is a foreigner.
