To add to what Nate has posted, you all remember I posted "Raifessen" the Austrian bank. When I called an office in Vienna I was told they WILL NOT accept u.s. customers. I recently found a Norway bank that will I think it is NDK or something close to that. They want one to put 100K euro to open an acct. A newletter I receive post "how BAD u.s. and England banks are. They DO NOT have funds to run the bank like what Nate posted about Ukraine. The Norway bank has a ratio of funds to debts of over 18%, the u.s. banks are funded @ a rate of .88%. So if only 2% of the people here want their money , they will be in line like in that Jimmy Stewart movie "it's a wonderful life." The banks here would be insolvent. I AM NOT putting 30% of my funds into gold, the wife says no.
In ending, I read recently the u.s. political arm IMF gave $2 billion to Privatebank, run by the oligarch from Dneiperpetrovsk if I remember. The money disappeared. Forget Privatebank.
