" I might be moving to Dubai sometime early next year. I would be moving as a diplomat. Therefore, I need to know what would be the cost of a three bedroom apartment/villa; what is the cost of the better international schools (English speaking); car prices; medical facilities for expats.... Any and all comments will be greatly appreciated. "

" RE: Help Please Juan, I have lived in Dubai for the past 4 years and it''s a GREAT place to live. It is expensive though, expecially for groceries, housing, and clothing. The best place to live is Jumeirah in Bur Dubai (the Dubai side of the creek). My 4 bedroom villa is Dhs. 150,000 per year (divide by 3.66 to get US dollars. You can still get villas from 85,000 and up, but the lower price villas are becoming scarce. My daughters go to the American School of Dubai (ASD). I think that the tuition is about $10,000 per year. Please send me an E-Mail if you have any specic questions. George Kenney geoken@emirates.net.ae "
