So I have arrived in Abu Dhabi about 2 weeks ago and all I have been doing is working and hanging around in the flat. Where do you meet people in this town? Not like I can just walk up to someone in the street and introduce myself, LOL. Thats just crazy:-) Any suggestions?

Hi,
I 'm an Irish guy who arrived here last week, currentlyapartment hunting, in or around Abu Dhabi. I'm travelling up to work everyday from Al Ain, but hope to find some where soon. any advice you have on flat hunting would be very helpfull.
You could try picking up the explorer complete residents guide to Abu Dhabi, in the exploring section there is lots of clubs & activites to join, it's an easy way to make friends, of similar age and stuff. most expsts I meet have beenvery helpful and always offer advice.

Was great .. had ppl who r travellers passing by and many residents too ...
Actually we went out thursday an friday, checked every place in the city and Jet Sking too.
