" I have dual British/US citizenship and my wife is a US citizen. We have recently had a new son and have been thinking of moving from Seattle to Bristol to be nearer to my family. I would like advice on how people have made a move like this. We are unsure how to go about finding a rental house or a car without living in the country (for example). Have people sold their US houses immediatedly when moving, or kept them until after they are settled and know that they aren''t moving back? Is there anyone who has moved from the USA to Bristol recently that can give us any guidelines on what life is like there now? (I last lived there over 10 years ago, and it seems that Britain has changed a lot!!) Thanks (still slightly unsure of whether to make the leap) Phil "
