NHL Opens in London

If there are any hockey fans living in London, you've got somthing to look forward to in September. The NHL will open in London with the LA Kings playing the Anaheim Ducks in a two-game series September 29-30. If you've never been to a hockey game, it's more fun than you might think. My wife is not a very big sports fan, and she always has a good time when we go. It's a fast game and the ice is much smaller than it looks on TV, so you feel like you're right on top of the action in most arenas. You'll find more info on NHL.com today.

We've got NBA and NHL playing in the O2 and the NFL playing at Wembley this Autumn. We were out with a cultural attache from the US embassy who shared that 900K people applied for tix to the NFL game. Unfortunately, that's 10x (or so) the number that Wembley can hold. But, since both the NHL and NBA games are also real season games they're hot tix as well.
