Where is a good place to live near London?

Hi! My husband and I are planning to move to the UK in a couple of months. Here are some places that we are considering to move to:

1. Sevenoaks, Kent
2. Epsom, Surrey
3. Tunbridge Wells, Kent
4. Ashford, Kent
5. Ebbsfleet, Kent (heard some bad things about this place though)

We're planning on living somewhere near London since we'd love to visit London a lot. My husband works from home so commuting to work is not an issue. We'd love to travel around Europe a lot so we would love to live near a train station and have easy access to an international train station. We heard that the weather is better around South so that's why we'd like to stay around Kent.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you can work from home, and one of your goals is to travel around in Europe, I advise you to reconsider relocating to the UK. A better option would be to move to Europe. Waterloo, Belgium is a nice place to live, you can live among locals, yet have access to a vibrant expat community (and schools, international as well as French). People are welcoming to foreigners, and you will have a truly European experience. Due to Brexit, travelling to Europe with a UK car, will not be a pleasant experience. People will assume you are British, or at least support the UK by migrating there, and you will not be very welcome, as tensions are about to become very visible over the next months and years. Also, English people do not like foreigners, and you riks becoming isolated.
My advise in a nutshell: move to Europe, forget UK.
