" Jose, It has been a while since I lived in MVD (95) but the Mercado on Saturday is worth a visit. Lots of activity with good eats and drinks. The Mercado is down near the docks in an old train station that was bound for Bolivia. Evidently the Bolivian government did not take delivery of the building that was shipped from Europe. The Uruguayan government erected the station near the docs when the other interested parties neglected to do anything with it. Anyway lots of fun on a weekend. Neal "
