Greetings,
Since we plan to live here for awhile, I am wondering if there is advice on national medical insurance plans.
thanks - akm

Hi, you should get medical insurance in Montevideo. I took the advice of some Uruguayan friends who advised me to go with Hospital Britannico (I'm told it's the best), which was a natural choice anyway for me because I'm British. I think my company is paying about $US 20 per month.
