There was almost 2.4 inches of rain in Montevideo in 33 minutes yesterday. Many streets were flooded. There many be many cars for sale after this!

Steve had walked down to the beach and when the deluge hit he walked back (up a hill) to our apartment building... he was soaked from head to foot including his straw hat and the inside of his bike bag... he said at places he was wading in water halfway to his knees.
