Greetings to all!
I could use a little help with some recommendations. If you've had a positive experience with an immigration attorney or an English speaking realtor, I would love it if you could share that with me. I'm planning a trip to UY and would like to get together with an attorney to discuss options as well as a realtor to see properties. Any help you can provide will be most appreciated. Thank you.

I had contacted and talked to several lawyers in the past that had been recommended to me. I have made my selection and I am very happy with our present lawyer, notary and accountant in Montevideo. If you are interested I can send you the contact details.

Hi, I can definitely recommend Ana Lía Méndez López, esc.analiamendez@gmail.com , she has helped us a lot and is reasonable to work with, good English and a high level of detail. My friend knows a realtor in Piriapolis who is reputable, but what area are you interested in? I can get his name if you want, PM me.

I can't help with the attorney but I can recommend a good Realtor. We started planning a trip in the summer of 2014 to Uruguay and would be arriving in October. We ask for help and recommendations to make the best of our trip. Michael Oliphant at Focus properties responded and was very helpful for the months leading up to our trip he answered all of our questions quickly and assisted us in planning our trip to make the most of our time. He was able to show us several properties in our price range and we are now planning a permanent move once our home in TN is sold. I could not recommend him enough.
