Hi, I am new to this site I am from the u.s. and my wife is from Argentina. We have lived in Argentina on and off the last 10 years. We are thinking of going back down but Argentina has became too expensive . I wanted to find out if there is a site to check on rentals,food prices,health care ,jobs, in Uruguay. This is really gonna be a big change for us, so,Thanks for any help !

Most Uruguayans I know find Argentina cheaper than Uruguay and many go over to Buenos Aires for shopping.

I only know of one person who is Uruguayan and trained as an RN in Australia. When she came back here after 10 years working in Australia, they would not hire her saying her qualifications were not any good here. She eventually went back to Australia.

Others may have more current info. Many of the doctors seem to have post grad training from elsewhere.

Hi there. Argentina is way cheaper than here. what are the things you find expensive in Argentina? and when you say Argentina, you mean Buenos Aires or other places?

The advise you have received agrees with what i have read. I do find it curious that you having lived for 10 years next door to UY are not more aware of costs there.
