Hi everybody, any body could tell me how long it takes to open a company in Uruguay, like a LCC, would be for a online business.

Also how much to open and to keep the company.

appreciate any info.

Cheers

When I was here last year an expat I met was in the process of doing the same. He went through the initial steps and decided it was not worth the head ache.
Maybe if you partner with a Uruguayan, but we both know how that will end.

... having lived in 14 different Countries
and now for a few years in UY, I would HIGHLY recommend NOT to open such in UY --- open it in an OFF-shore location outside the US and OUTSIDE UY ... !! >>> MANY less headaches, likely lower initial cost and NO future TAXES ...

Hi login2

Thanks for your advice, and I will take on this opportunity to ask you which country you would recommend, and YES I DO NOT WANT to open this "company" in the US, I don't want any business with the US.

I have look in to Europe, Portugal to be more exact, but I am finding the cost to maintain the company open there, a little be stiff, for now, I have not started doing business yet, so I need to go slowly here, before the $$$ starts to rolling in.

Again I do appreciate your advice and welcome any suggestions.

Best regards.

If you are going to do business in Uruguay you have no choice but to open a company here. It's harder than it should be but not that hard.

Colombia! I would never imagine.

I need a country with low tax's for online business, any suggestions?

I thought of Uruguay because it sounds simpler than in Brasil, but it won't work, Uruguay it's not included in a list that I did need it to be, to make a long story short.
Best regards.

Hello Forex --- due to high winds I have been out of electricity & water for a little over 24 hours with batteries run down ...
IMO Europe is NOT the right place for you either ...
ALL depends on your type of business and the expected volume ... AND Profits --- a dirty word for the Liberals/Socialists ...
Look at some the of the ISLAND Nations (Caribbean, Isle o Wight or in the Pacific) or in Singapore ...
Spending a little time and effort and soon to be HALF-worth $$ will safe you LOTS of Shyster-fees and headaches in the years to come ...(!)
You might as well look at the same time for a ISP in these areas --- this way the CIA-google-Criminals can not cut you off at their discretion and stop your Business at will ... AND IF you are on 'twitter' or 'Butt-book' >>> get off (!!), cancel ... !
I trust this will be of some assistance ...
