hi guys, i hope everyone are doing ok...

i want to know if its possible to connect my chacra's "industrial" areas to a three-phase electricity in order to get more power so il be able to run a lot of high energy consume machines at the same time...

will il need to give them a special request? a lot of paper work?

i do hope they have the capability to make it because i will not be able to run a business on the regular one-phase household electricity power.

thanks for the helpers

UTE generates 3 phase 50hz power for industry. Look at the transmission lines in your area and see how many wires you see on the poles. Single phase is two wires, Three phase will have 3 wires at the top of the poles. Three phase is usually needed only when motors of 3 hp or greater are required. If you can get by with 2 hp motors, single phase will serve you well, though you may need multiple motors depending on what pumping/work you are doing. hope this helps.

It will depend where you are but 3 phase exists in many places even for residential to help balance loads.

Be aware that in some places you are using one hot and a neutral but in others like Punta del este there is no neutral.
