Bringing in golf cart-like vehicles or parts?

we're wondering what the rules/laws are about expats (in tramite) bringing in a (sub-car) golf-cart-ish vehicle, or parts to something like that (used of course) - in our container? i get the idea that bringing in a car is pretty impossible, but what about other modes? motorbikes?
thanks in advance for your help.

We were told anything with a gas engine is not allowed.( including lawn mowers and motorbikes) I would check with your shipper, they are generally up on all the latest requirements.
Not sure if there are restrictions on electric vehicles.

Hello, I am not sure about golf cart type vehicles or parts but I do know that you can bring lawn mowers, weed eaters, etc. in the container. That is how we got ours down here. We were told to empty out the gas and oil and it was a done deal. Hope that helps, but I am sure that your moving company will let you know, ours did :) Take care.
