hi, il want to be registered as auto consumo in BPS( i think...) as the chacra is no more than 5 HACTRE...
The thing i am worrying about is if they will restrict my ability to work and create an income, because il be registered as auto consumo.
also, i know il have to present enough income in the future if i want them to approve my permit residency, as for now i have only the temporary cedulla for 2 years, so as an auto consumo it will be impossible for me to create an income?
thanks for the helpers

After the two lines I was bothered to read I interpreted it as its the way to register with BPS if you don't exploit your campo and more or less use it as a leisure weekend get a way place... Why not ask at your local BPS and DGI office what you can do and how you should proceed?

I doubt if registering for taxes based upon some sort of off the grid or self sustaining lifestyle would affect the need to show proof of income to immigration.

Perhaps if you could get an independent valuation of whatever you produce on your land in the open market, and show that it sustains your lifestyle, they might consider that. especially if you can show that you are a stable resident of Uruguay. Talk to a lawyer or an accountant.
