Very expensive to land and tie down at both airports in Montevideo. My friend landed his Mooney with his grandson at a grass field in Mercedes, stayed three months as a guest at a hangar there. Very little in the way of expenses and a very congenial stay. He even put his grandson in a school in Mercedes for the time there.
