hi, i'm a 47 yrs old venezuelan, caracas, but at the present living in london uk with my english husband and son. i didn't leave my country because of its political problems but simply because i married him and he had a better job than me. now, having said that, i must advise you to study very welll your chances of getting settled in venezuela. 1st of all: what will you be doing for a living, what is your background?depending on your answers, i can advise you better and honestly. venezuela has the highest rate of violent criminality in america -for 5 years now!-it's not true to tell you that you will be living there peacefully like in paradise. social revolution has been going on for 10 years now and it will take several more years to calm down and see any positive results, if any due to the high corruption. the uk site 'home office' about venezuela will give a clear vision of the dangers for you 1st as a visitor, then as a possible resident...i found it very accurate indeed.
