moving to valencia in january

hello, all. my wife and daughter and I are new to the forum. My wife is Venezuelan and we are moving for a year from Costa Rica to Valencia starting in January 2012.

I wondered if anyone can give advice of well priced schools and what their cost in the area is and also how much we can rent a nice 2 bedroom house, roughly how much will it cost and what are the deposit terms?

Any advice would be great.... thank you so much

I will be curious to hear how the cost of living compares to Costa Rica! Before I moved to Margarita Is. I spent a month in CR and found it about 1/3 more expensive than Vzla, but with the 30% inflation here I am wondering if the same is true.

Hi,
Are you in contact with anyone who lives/works in Venezuela now? I'm doing research for a friend who was born in Venezuela but has no other connection and will find himself deported back to his birthplace from Colorado - he's a two-tour Iraqi vet - complicated story. But like you, I need real information.
