One of the easiest ways to have an income source in Vietnam is to build a business in association with other expats. This will also offer an opportunity to connect with and build a social network
Of friends and other English speakers. Living in Vietnam can be a great experience. Our money whether derived from employment or retirement benefits will go a long way here in Vietnam. Vietnam's current per capita is between $2,000.00 and $3,000.00 and probably more toward the lower end of that scale. Many expats get around $3,000.00/mo or more in retirement pay and I would venture to say many if not most could buy a house cash here in Vietnam. Many are not aware that in reality we could earn more money while living in Vietnam than we could in our own respective native countries. It just depends on how entrepreneurial we choose to be. You might be surprised to find out how many Vietnamese millionaires and billionaires there are here in Vietnam. If we organize and pool our resources together I could almost guarantee we could become millionaires

Hi, I like Saigon and I love the Vietnamese people, but I don't like the streets full of seedy bars. That's just not my scene. I want to have a choice of bars, but bars with more elegance that don't charge double for a beer. and are also fairly busy too, with interesting people. But I couldn't find this kind of scene in Saigon. or anywhere in Vietnam. So now I'm back in Zhuhai, China, where it's more boring, generally, but where there is a wide choice of good bars, with no seedy element. But the internet sucks and you need a VPN, and the weather is not as good as in Vietnam. I found this seedy bar element in Vietnam, Thailand and the Philippines. I must recommend, though, The Saigon Saxophone Pub by the Victory Monument. Totally amazing! I was invited to sing with one of the two world-class jazz bands that play there 7 nights a week. Oh, for a street full of that kind of bar! I would move there tomorrow!

The way to have the things we want is to pool our resources together and make it happen. Now is the time to make life what we all want through building sources, businesses, a constant flow of income we can manage to build our own brand of life experience. I call on all expats to join in building a joint share company, a corporation who's mission is to improve the lives of expats through economic strength and influence. Through this kind of effort we can offer Vietnam and all visitors and patrons our own taste and influence like adding a new delicious dish to a first class restaurant menu. I have a background as a business and investment consultant plus I am an architectural designer and building engineer. I am also a writer and artist. I am willing to put my money and all me talents and resources to work to built the kind of life I want for myself and my family, that now includes all expats living in Vietnam and other places. I also have the time and resources to travel where other like minded expats want to get together and pool our resources together to generate income and bring things to life for the promotion of security and joy in our lives. We have the power to do it. I would venture to say if all expats were to truly pool their resources together we could put together enough money and other resources together to rival some small nations. So many people have money in retirement and other account earning next to nothing. I have built a reputation of earning double digit returns for investors worldwide and often succeed in doubling our money through projects around the world. If I can do this for business investors I can certainly do it for an expat organization. Any interested expat or party is welcome to reach out to me.

Just like many things in Vietnam you have people acting like they want to make you rich. Scammers are everywhere. You guys are better off finding your own opportunities else where. If it takes someone to go on a public forum to broadcast their service of making you a millionaire then it's too good to be true.

You are a fool. I am a doctor with many years doing humanitarian work in many poor and developing countries like Vietnam. I am not offering to make people rich. You miss the spirit of contributing to human development completely. I am ashamed of you. What I propose is to do something of benefit to our host communities and well as provide expats with an opportunity to be productive and create an income source at the same time. It's not really much different than what we might do in our respective home lands. I have also sponsored worldwide charities giving of my time, work, and financial resources for the benefit of man kind involving hundreds of thousands of volunteers worldwide. To me you really show your ignorance and selfishness as well as an absence of a sense of true responsibility when you down grade the efforts of others who are truly seeking solutions to our common problems and to benefit those that are less fortunate than you.

A doctor discussing about making it rich and becoming a millionaire. Yeah, I can see where your priorities are. Certainly not in the interest of your patients. Assuming you are an MD, but again everyone is calling themselves a doctor these days.

I am working on creating a solution to the unempoyment, underemploymrnt and general low wage in the Philippines of millions of Filipino families working to support their families on waged of or not much more than 1 US dollar per day.
Also in Vietnam there are millions of people living under the poverty line.
We have problems in the USA as well but in particular i want to concentrate on the city of Detroit, Michigan.
In African around 500,000 people die every year due to malnutrition, hunger, and disease, especially woman and children. The exact statistics are unknown but suffice it to know and understand the number is quite significant.
The need for housing, food, clean drinking water, and adequate medical care has millions of people suffering insurmountable agony around the world. We the more fortunate members of more prosperous societies from developed countries can unite and make a difference and we can work to find inclusive solutions to our challege to live productuve and fulfilling lives as well.

Come up with a suggestion or better yet a concrete project for expats to live productive and fulfilling lives wherever they may find themselves that will address all their needs.
