Im looking for a good gardening supply outlet in Nha Trang , plants I find aplenty but what I dont find is a good range of potting mixes fertilizers . seed trays etc. Im hoping to set up a small hydroponic garden at home and would rather buy the right stuff than make it all from scratch.

Nope, I've never seen any of that stuff in Nha Trang. Plant nurseries mix their own potting mix and use ordinary plastic bags for plants. I doubt if they've even heard of hydroponics.

Look a little deeper Ralph, Big dollars being made by hydroponic growers in Dalat and elsewhere, pottting supplies are readily available as is Fertilizer and compost, and all is good quality local product. Problem is one has to visit half a dozen pissant little outlets to get all the crap you need in one pile.

You may have to come to Saigon for supplies. There is a large hydrophonics garden in Dist 7. I forgot the name but google hydrophonics & saigon.

Thanks Doc I find plenty low tech suppliers here and hydroponic nutrients are manufactured in VN . I would rather build my own set up than visit Sin city. Phan bo company can ship from Hà N?i a good range of agricultural supplie including hydroponic needs. Thanks for the thought.

hi, I used a 90mm storm water pipe in Australia it comes in 6m lengths, cut 90mm dia holes down 1 side ( same all the way down ) filled it with vermiculite because its light and retains moisture, the rest I will leave to your imagination
