Like the states, it all depends what location in Nicaragua you are referring to. Nicaragua is a diverse country having long coasts, valleys, volcanos, mountains and rain forests.
The most popular area for expats is the Southwest where it is generally in the upper 80s but it depends on the season. The hottest months are April and May since it precedes the rainy season. Granada, San Juan del Sur and Managua are quite warm but if you lived on the mountains or volcanos you will be sleeping under a blanket at night.
Leon is even warmer but the mountain areas around Matagalpa, Esteli and Jinotega are quite cool seeing the 50s sometime. The Moon books might give you some more detail on temperatures.
