I moved to Granada, Nicaragua about 6 months ago to join an eco-housing company named CO2 Bambu and I love it here. I know more of my neighbors now than I ever did back home, people are much friendly, and life just has a certain sense of ease to it that you can't find in the states. I live in a bamboo house and it is the most beautiful thing ever! it feels so alive! Cost of living is cheap / food is good not great / the city is amazing, with a lake on one end and a volcano on the other. Definitely not leaving anytime soon. If anyone is interested to see the bamboo house I live in, send me an email at oren@co2bambu.com!! - Safe Travels!!

Okay, send me pictures and possible floor plans? We need at least three bedrooms?

Great to hear how well it is going for you. I went through Granada on the way to San Juan Del Sur a few months back and it looked really cool. Would love to see your home. Thanks. blakeb1122@gmail.com

Way to go! Sounds like a great set up. I'm 10 - 15 years away but eyeing Nicaragua for retirement. Will be in Granada this summer for the 3rd time. Please send photos of your bamboo house. Enjoy! john_obrien1@hotmail.com
