A few detailed questions about what is/what is not available in Nicaragua

Do people can food (preserve in jars) down there? I know storing up for winter is obviously not needed but there are still some foods (like relishes) that I would still like to preserve regardless where I am. Are canning jars/lids readily available or even heard of down there? Should I bring my own?

How about natural products such as...

*Natural/herbal medicine (herbal tinctures, dried medicinal herbs, etc.)

*natural health/beauty products (make-up, soaps/shampoos, etc.)

How about natural laundry soap, dish soap, cleaners, etc?

If so, do you pay a small fortune for them?

I'm not hung up on 'Organic certification' but I don't react well to half the chemical garbage they but in everyday products up here in the states.

Anybody ever heard of stevia down there (natural sweetener)?

Green tea / herbal teas?

Just wondering if I should start stocking up on a few of these things. Thank you, any info is much appreciated! :)
