Best Place to Retire in Nicaragua?

In your opinion, where is the best place to retire in Nicaragua?

Tell us about the climate, proximity to major airports, access to healthcare, cost of living and reasons to retire there.

If you are a retiree there, what do you love about living there?

Your feedback may be shared with a journalist writing an article for a finance magazine about best places to retire abroad.

There are so many factors in stating a good place to live and many are dependent on what you are looking for. After years of trips and research we moved to San Juan del Sur. Very quickly we determined it was not for us and we moved to Granada where we have been for going on seven years.

Your questions are so broad that it would take several pages to address the issues so I must direct you to my website at www.nicaragua-guide.com. It covers almost everything you ask. As always I seriously recommend you live 6-12 months wherever you are considering. To get other opinions, I have a long list of other websites there which may help you.

We like it here because of the gentle people, the beautiful country, the diversified areas, the opportunities and the adventure of learning another culture, But..... it is not for everyone.
