I don't live in Nicaragua yet but I have looked into electricity costs. I recommend you search the forum for electricity to see a range of responses. I calculated my US electric bill using Nicaragua rates and discovered my bill would be extremely high so I will have to learn to live with less when I move to Nicaragua. As for your question, my best estimate of the bill for 175 kwh would be 950 Cordobas or about $40 US. It looks like 100 kwh is some kind of break point where more kwh means a lot more money The rate jumps at that point from 5.24 to 6.95 Cordobas per kwh.
