Flying into Managua on Wed., renting a car and first destination is San Juan Del Sur. I have 7 days to find a permanent living space (best case). Max $500.00, hot water desired, individual residence preferred, space for art studio, private i.e. fenced, garden space, walking distance (under 3 miles) to beach, market, town square. Please let me know of any info you might have that will help me accomplish this goal. Thank You, Gracias

I suggest you make contact with Elisha and Gord McKay in SJDS (she is on Facebook) and there is a Facebook page for Expats in SJDS. Elisha and Gord will likely have contacts who know about rentals there, as may other members of the FB page.

thanx cedelune, Gord McKay has gotten in touch, couldn't find Elisha on fb. Please pass it on, that I am in need of info on places to live - prefer long term but certainly must have someplace by the first, then I can continue to look if it isn't the right place for permanent. I realize most people come on scouting trips first but in my case, I had to close a whole life out here and since I've got to make a new one anyway -thought I'd just jump.
again, $500 max rent - walking distance to town & ocean (under 3 miles) - space for a studio - indoor/outdoor living great, prefer hot water in at least one shower - or some good advice about how you all do without it - need internet capability (going to try and work from SJDS some) prefer private, fenced, room for a garden.
