I have an early flight out of Managua and I have decided it would be best if I stay one night nearby. I know there is a Best Western across the street but I hate cold sterile hotels. Any thoughts on a bed and breakfast or guesthouse close to the airport.

I haven't stayed here, but it sounds like a good option:

What time is your flight? That has alot to do with your options. No one BB serves breakfast at 4:00-5:00 a.m. A regular hotel serves breakfast 24 hrs a day.

Hi cedelune ,I have seen this place on AirBnB.com and it does look wonderful but it is 25-30mins from the airport and my flight is 6.45am! I might have to just stay at the Best Western, yuck!

Get a good night´s rest at the Best Western and when you make reservations ask to speak with Jairo, tell him you are a freind of Walter so that he will give you at least a 20-35% discount from the regular rate. If he is not there call me and I´ll call him on his cell pone, so that he contact the front desk and have them give you the discount. 8817 3319 Movi 8703 6921 Claro

Peabody,
Let´s have lunch at El Bucanero and chache awhile. I built the terraze that is in El Bucanero, in order for everyone to enjoy the view, and you can check that on the public records, since that was my old country house, and one of the first properties I bought in Nicaragua.
