could get one for 400…but better off with a bit better..

You will get a lot of BS (there is a lot of that on here) about 250-350 places…trust me you really do not want them.

Check the Facebook pages. There are lots of rentals advertised there and some on craigslist. A friend just got a studio in Granada for $250 plus electric, nice apartment in a nice building. She found it by walking around and talking to people. She speaks excellent Spanish and wasn't in a hurry. You are coming at the good time of year. Find a comfortable place to land so you can take your time. I would be prepared to pay at least $500 plus for a couple of bedrooms in a decent area.
