Hello everyone,

I am planning to come to Nicaragua in September and would like to stay for about two months. I am wondering if anyone could give me advice or point me in the right direction in regards to where to stay and the cheapest options available. I would like to be near the beach, however if cheaper options exist in León, Granada or another city, I am open to staying there as well. I'd like to see the country but have a "home-base" to come back to.

That is the low season, you should not have much trouble. There have been plenty of rentals on the SJDS facebook pages, check them out. You might check with stay places, some of them might give you a good rate for longer stays and store your things.

Hi there! You mentioned that León may be an option. A friend of mine stayed at Harvest House in León for a month or two. He loved it there.

Prices start at $5 per night for a month long stay.
