My wife and I are thinking to moving to Nicaragua, I was wondering if anyone could help us find a job or at least point in the right direction. My wife is a Canadian trained naturopathic doctor and I have experience in sales, customer service and business management, we are both fluent in English, my wife speaks Spanish at 70% fluency and I'm 100% fluent in Spanish. Thanks for your help

To work in Nicaland you need a work visa and those are hard to come by. You can't take a job from a Nica. People who earn money here open a business (with the correct visa) and with mucho luck they can earn some money. The people we know who have done this arrived with money, and had money to live on until the business generated income, if ever. Most people we know who earn money do so over the internet in a variety of ways and the local government isn't involved. Get your gig before you arrive. You cannot work legally on a tourist visa. Teaching in the international schools is another way to earn some money, and the schools with get your visa. There are expats who are interested in natural medicine, but the ones we know are cheap. Getting money out of them would be difficult.

Love to encourage you to move here, but the fact is you will do better in Panama. There you can both work 6 months on Tourist Visas and decide your futures. Your wife will find employment easier. With sales it's a whole new ballgame here and much depends on what type sales you have done in the past. Likely something on line will be best. Costa Rica, Nicaragua all have high unemployment and while not impossible, jobs are rare. Most employment is based upon who you know. Even in Panama things like teaching are high demand.
