Scaremongering, or...?

Hi everyone. My name is Aidan. Please excuse me if this is a double-posting. Being new to the forum I may have prematurely posted just prior to this. I am seriously considering moving to Nicaragua this Oct. 2017. Whilst doing some research/homework, I came across this article http://tinyurl.com/grhrgqm and was wondering whether any current resident expats in Nicaragua had heard of these rumblings. Given the history of Central America conflicts, should we be concerned? Thank you in advance for your feedback. Best, Aidan

If you let stuff like that bother you this ain't the place for you. It's that simple....no in-depth analysis needed.

1--indians don't matter, they are a small number of people living in an obscure part of Nic that is more important foreigners who have never been here than to the Nicaraguans. I don't have any beef with the Indians, its just the way it is. If the govmint sent enough troops in to protect everyone in every desolate swamp the Indians and foreigners would be screaming "invasion".
2-- regional autonomy is a crock of commie stuff. I hope for Nic's sake then can undo it in some reasonable manner before it gets too enshrined like American Indian reservations.
3-- Danny is a world class brilliant opportunist and the great procurer general. And when he dies his brilliant wife will continue his work.
4 The world will always give to Nic because Nic is so needy and the foreign rubes are so dumb.
5--the comparative handful of people being dispossessed (?) by the invisible canal are getting screwed because they will be paid based on assessed value rather than marked value. I hope this gets changed, the govmint or the chinaman need to be a little more generous and politic.
6-- in my humble opinion, Nic has less chance of civil war than does the US.

Thank you atz111, but your response was, shall we say, just a little too cryptic for me. Sorry. I'm assuming that when you said that if I let things like this bother me, you were referring to the article I linked to, correct? I can assure you, I don't let articles bother me, and will often try to get info from the horse's mouth, as it were. Failing that, a careful analyses of emissions from opposite can and do often reveal a subjects subtleties. And of course, no analysis needed, as the article was quite cogent. So again, have you heard of these rumblings? And, given the history of conflict in Central America, should we be concerned? I'd be interested in your opinion on this azt111. I took a look at your profile, but as I couldn't see a current country of residence, I can only assume you are in Nicaragua, and by the succint nature of your response, that you are no doubt an expert on Nicaraguan politics, culture, history, and ground-swell opinions. Looking forward to hearing from you, and best for now, Aidan

Another Nicaragua game the foreign press plays is the ole "thousands of nic. cane workers are dying of a rare kidney disease cause by foreign insecticide companies" It comes out every 6 months and has no basis in fact, just media hype.
